About the Author
Reverend Run entered the public eye in 1983 as Run, leader of the pioneering rap trio Run-DMC. Since then, his accomplishments include becoming president of Phatfarm Footwear, CEO of Run Athletics, and star of the top-rated MTV show Run's House. Recently, he released his first solo album, Distortion, on RSMG, and directed the video for his first single, "Mind on the Road." More important, he is a minister at Zoe Ministries, founded by Bishop E. Bernard Jordan in 1983. Run now spends the majority of his time at church and building the foundations of his family.

Amazing Book - Great resource for daily affirmations

Please, please, please buy this book. You will not be disappointed!!!! I cannot say enough wonderful words about this book. I love everything about it and I go to it for inspiration all the time. I always get something out of this book and even when I don't think I need anything, it gives me something. It is a great reminder of hope, courage, and letting go of everything and remembering that God is in control. I also love Rev's other book with his beautiful wife Justine. Taking Back your Family is GREAT. Thank you Rev Run for writing such wonderful words. I have found comfort from your words at times of adversity and at times to rejoice. I am grateful to have this book. God bless you and your family always!
